    Showtime Anytime Crashes when 'Series' Option is Selected


    I purchased an XBox One yesterday. My ID is Sworder1973.

    The XBox as a whole seems to work fine. All firmware updates have been applied. All network tests, games, and apps run successfully except for one: Showtime Anytime.

    Showtime Anytime crashes immediately when the 'Series' option from the leftmost menu is selected. All of the other options work fine. But when 'Series' is selected, the app crashes, and I'm booted back to the XBox home screen.

    I can view various TV series using a bit of a backdoor method: If I scroll right without selecting 'Series' and pick a featured show, "Homeland" for example, I can select 'View All Episodes' and start streaming content successfully. But using this hack means
    that I'm limited to series that happen to be featured on the front page that day, as opposed to having access to all series via the 'Series' menu selection.

    Can this be fixed?

    Showtime Anytime which allows you to watch Showtime movies and series at your leisure is now available. Khan is also available which is an educational app.

    I have been having an issue for 2 weeks trying to activate my Showtime account on Xbox One. Initially it was activated and worked great. All of sudden I was required to re-activate and now it keeps saying Code expired or not valid try again. I have tried
    with two separate accounts that have Showtime services.

    I'm able to access the Showtime anytime services through my iPad and chromecast via xbox one with no problem. Anyone having this same issue?

    It happens to me as well. This really needs to be fixed. Search also helps get around it.

    The website works for me, slayer3901. I'd say try a different web browser or different computer if possible. You can also activate the Xbox 360 through the Showtime Anytime smartphone/tablet app in its Settings menu.

    The problem I'm having is that I can't get the app's icon to appear in my Xbox's "My Videos" menu. It's downloaded and activated, and I can launch it through My Pins on the home screen as well as the "Browse Apps" menu.

    I've searched Google and this site's support section, but don't see any other reports of this specific issue. I've tried several different consoles and several different Gamertags.

    I have also tried deleting the app, deleting any saved data from the System Storage menu, clearing the system cache, and rebooting the console before reinstalling. No dice.

    If anyone can clue me in on how to get the damn thing to appear I'd greatly appreciate it.

    try accessing it on the web, and go to manage devices, you might have to delete the xbox entry from there and re-connect it.

    I've been having a problem with it just saying "Error Sorry, this Showtime Anytime feature isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.Xbox.com/status." every time I try to start the app. It's listed as up & running
    so nothing there. I also tried uninstalling & reinstalling with no luck. Looks like the same one Ben was having. Any resolution yet?
