Showtime anytime broken

Showtime anytime worked for the first 2 weeks but now its been broken for a week. Goes to authenticating then says error, the feature isnt available right now. Tried deleting the app and data and reinstalling but still doesn't work. Had to post this here
since theres no showtime app under the xbox app forums. Typical microsoft. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have been having an issue for 2 weeks trying to activate my Showtime account on Xbox One. Initially it was activated and worked great. All of sudden I was required to re-activate and now it keeps saying Code expired or not valid try again. I have tried
with two separate accounts that have Showtime services.

I'm able to access the Showtime anytime services through my iPad and chromecast via xbox one with no problem. Anyone having this same issue?

The website works for me, slayer3901. I'd say try a different web browser or different computer if possible. You can also activate the Xbox 360 through the Showtime Anytime smartphone/tablet app in its Settings menu.

The problem I'm having is that I can't get the app's icon to appear in my Xbox's "My Videos" menu. It's downloaded and activated, and I can launch it through My Pins on the home screen as well as the "Browse Apps" menu.

I've searched Google and this site's support section, but don't see any other reports of this specific issue. I've tried several different consoles and several different Gamertags.

I have also tried deleting the app, deleting any saved data from the System Storage menu, clearing the system cache, and rebooting the console before reinstalling. No dice.

If anyone can clue me in on how to get the damn thing to appear I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

Look under your download history if it's not showing up in the apps section.

I was unaware of the Showtime app.

Having the same issue here Riken...done all the troubleshooting methods and nothing is working...anyone know how to fix this problem?

 

Hey All. I figured it out!! I was having the same exact issue with same error message mentioned above. Here are the steps to resolve...

On a computer:

1.Login to Showtime Anytime.

2.Go into settings (in drop down menu under your username)

3. Click "manage devices"

4. Click "remove" where you see the xbox360

-this removes your xbox as a known device for your showtimeanytime account

On your 360:

Delete the showtime anytime app

1. go to settings

2. go to system settings

3. select "storage"

4. select the storage device where your app is located (most likely "hard drive")

5. Select "games and apps"

6. select "showtime anytime"

7. select and delete all files associated with the app

.... not sure if necessary but from here i cleared system cache (highlight "hard drive" under storage devices and press "Y" then select clear system cache) and I also turned the xbox on and off for good measure.

After you have removed your xbox as a known device on showtimeanytime.com and deleted the app from your xbox:

1. Download the Showtime Anytime app and follow the instructions

-It will ask you to activate your device again with a code..

Takes a couple mins but it is really not that complicated. Hope that works for you as it did for me!!
