shows that i don't own minecraft on the launcher even though i have xbox game pass ultimate

Hello Blank and Happy New Year, if you have the Ultimate Game Pass you can only access Minecraft through the Microsoft account because it is part of the Game Pass catalog so it does not appear when you run by Laucher from Moajang.

I have this exact same issue. Even though I migrated my account, it seems to think I don't own Minecraft. I can play Minecraft on the old launcher (logged into my Microsoft account) as it seems to recognise that I own the game there. Its only the new launcher that is having the issue and the Mojang website.

If you still have the old launcher installed maybe give it a go as it still works for me.

Same exact problem. Haven't been able to play minecraft since migrating. Says I don't own the game even though I bought it almost a decade ago. Would be nice if microsoft would fix this instead of ignoring us.

Same Exact BS. This is why Microsoft should have kept their buggy junk code out of Mojang. It's bad enough you have the only operating system that we all sadly have to use to access the majority of software on the planet but now you are infecting games with your buggy code!
