    Shout out to Enforment | Gamertag Force Changed


    My gamertag was force changed today and I'm having a hard time getting a hold of any Enforment Staff. Ive had the Gamertag for over 4 years now. I was hoping to get this resolved asap and get it changed back. This is very frustrating as my Email
    YouTube Instagram Twitter and Twitch account username is the same.

    Are you saying there was no notification after the change?

    Indeed Xbox live will take the 9.99 fee for a name change. May I ask what Lol and Dota have to do with your name being changed on XBLA?

    I think the only way any of us could help you, would be if you came to my house and mowed my lawn... I could give you the 10 bucks to cover the cost of changing your gamertag. (It's kind of a big yard though, sorry)

    The Xbox Enforcement team do not use the forums and can only be contacted through the
    Xbox Enforcement Web Site, from this website you should be able to view any enforcement actions and if eligible request a case review.

    this is wrong I awnser one question wrong and I'm told I have to wait 24 hours. How am I suppose to know about when Enforment suspensions are issued. Its like I'm apply for a job come on now.

    You should know because all of the answers to the questions are in the code of conduct you agreed to reading when you created your account.

    You're previous gamer tag was within reason for violation against the code of conduct

    A forced Gamertag change may be issued if a Gamertag visually resembles, sound likes, represents, hints at, abbreviates, or otherwise insinuates any of the following:

    • Profane words or phrases
    • Topics or content of a sexual nature
    • Hate speech
    • Controversial religious topics
    • Notorious people or organizations
    • Sensitive current or historical events

    When a forced Gamertag change is imposed, the system automatically assigns a new Gamertag to the affected account, much in the same way a system-generated Gamertag is provided when you first sign up for Xbox Live.

    If a player is unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, he or she may purchase a new Gamertag through the standard Gamertag change process.

    The Xbox Enforcement Team will not reinstate that gamer tag and you're going to need to "buy" a new one if you want to change it. Just don't choose something that will cause a forced gamer tag change again.
