I've never cared about BC. Not with the 360 (kept my original), and not now (kept my 360). Another issue, I don't think MS should be responsible for.

 

Should have kept my 360 or bought Playstation

The XBox ONE gets better new games than the 360.

 

You should HAVE kept your 360. They get better free games THAN the Xbox One.

I can't agree or disagree with you as these are your own personal feelings. I know I kept mine, but rarely, if ever, turn it on.

 

I kept mine best of both worlds didn't take long for someone to complain about the games

This is just silly, while the Xbox 360 is a fantastic console it's time is just about up. The Xbox One has fantastic exclusives in Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Sunset Overdrive that are not on Xbox 360. And who keeps a console for free games that
most of us have already played?

 

Remember the time XBL didn't have 'free games with gold', only reason for me to have gold is for the multi-player, the extra's are just a bonus and still are. Most of the Free gamse with gold I have had no interest in and overall must have only downloaded
2 free games since it started, but you won't hear me complaining.

I still have my 360 btw, I wouldn't want to part with it while I still have so many games left to finish on it.

 

I only kept mine because I just barely got into the kinect, and the X1 has nothing to offer. If it wasn't for me enjoying the heck out of the Halo 5 beta, I'd just get rid of the One.

 

I kept mine mostly because it's my little R2D2 pal. I turned it on for the first time in months just to get the achievements in fast and furious. But all and all X1 has so much more to offer. Now more than ever.

 

No, when you made the decission to go next gen, you did the right thing by offsetting the final cost a bit by trading in/selling your old system.

Sure you miss the old girl, but once a decission is made you have to live with it. Besides, GwG from what I read on these forums isnt actually yours to keep anymore.

So, if true that means that MS changed policies midstream yet again, and with changes like that why even bother worrying about which system got this, or that. For overall neither system that you own, actually got anything free to keep... So all the GwG program
really boils down to is nothing short of a (poof. There it is.... No wait... Poof.. Its gone.) incentive for you, and I to stay Gold. But once you stop buying Gold. Your GwG also takes a hike.

 

I kept my 360 and have enjoyed the best of both Games with Gold worlds and have enjoyed the offerings on both platforms, but probably after World of Tanks rolls onto the Xbox One I will hook the 360 up to a screen in the guest room or retire it.

@ElectroFlying - What you posted above is a misunderstanding. There are a few posts after yours in the relevant GwG thread that should prove to be enlightening (and good news for you).

 

@ ElectroFlying You still get to keep the GWG on the 360 if Im not mistaken. The "you lose them when you cancel gold" policy was instituted for the One.

If an Xbox 360 is around for almost 10 years and has 1,137 games to choose from, and an Xbox One has been around for almost 1.5 years and has 351 games (currently released or planned) to choose from, which console will have a larger pool of games and therefore
a higher chance of having better GWG to choose from?
