Should I return my Xbox one x for a scratch?

So I finally got enough to spend on an Xbox one x. Pretty excited I come home to unbox the console to find scratches on the console all over. So I return for an exchange for another one and the same thing happened. My third was ok but the box was beat up
and I lost later discovered the same thing. Anyways I exchange once again and rinse and repeat. I'm now on my 6th console which overall looks good but has one minor scratch on the front. I took pics and the smudges are from my hands . You can only see it
with a bright enough flashlight such as one on your phone. My OCD is flaring up about this. I didn't expect to pay $500 for a scratched console. But I'm sick of returning all these. Are they all like this? Or am I being very picky..? Edit.. it won't let me

Can you elaborate a bit further for us? Are you seeing any error messages or error codes when you try to launch games or apps?

Let's have you try to perform a full
Factory Reset, but make sure to keep your Games & apps. This will refresh the console fully, but you won't need to reinstall any games or apps. You will need to re-sign into any profiles you had on the console again though.

Should I return my Xbox One X Scorpio edition?

Pretty frustrated so far. I've had to reboot my Xbox One X, every day since I purchased it. It will work fine for 8 hrs or so, then when I turn it back on the next day, the apps and games won't launch, or I can't sign in. Seeing reports of people having
issues. But no word from Microsoft as far as I can tell. Tonight I'm going to try and boot it up without the external hard drive, and then redownload my games, I guess. And yes I've done the whole unplug and reset trick, but still only helps until I shut it
down. Just want to know if it's fixable through a patch, or do I have to return it? Which would suck, since I traded in my other xbox.

Should not have been any scratches on yours either so something is not quite right there.

 

It's definitely not normal and if you've gotten them all from the same store it sounds like they're not being handled properly. Personally, if the console still runs fine, I'd keep it. I'm not staring at the console all day so I won't see it.

 

You should see a shrink for you OCD trol!

**** everythin under flashlight will show everything scratches. Under UV light will show all dirty smutches ****, under a microscope will show moving animals, OCD perfection troll.

 

I'd take it back for a refund and buy one from a different store. No reason a brand new item should be scratched, unless it's previously been opened.

 

Perhaps he isn't buying brand new. Possibly a GameStop refurbished/used? I've never had a new console scratched out of the box, though the original X Box One (Glossy) seemed to get fine scratches with the gentlest of cleaning.
