    Hello! I normally play PC but decided to pull my Xbox One S out for Lego Star Wars. The game looks fuzzy and I decided to play with my video settings. I found that the "Allow 4K" and "Allow HDR10" settings were turned on. Should I keep these settings on even though I am playing on an LG Ultragear 2560x1440p HDR monitor? The settings were automatically on btw.

    Xbox Series X HDR10+

    Do you think there are limitations that would not allow it to support HDR10+ or is is more of a demand thing? More people buying newer 4k TVS that support HDR10+ (Samsung) and Dolby Vision (LG) might help sell more Xboxes...

    Hi,

    Yes it should do. If you go into your xbox settings>TV and display options>video modes you can untick the allow 4K box and ensure the allow HDR10 box is ticked.

    You may need to make sure HDR is enabled on your monitor settings.

    I have been working on this issue all day with several people at Microsoft and have not had any luck yet. My situation has been elevated and hopefully I will have a response soon. I have an LG OLED model OLED55B6P TV that is listed on the Reddit site as
    a TV capable of viewing HDR10 Content. I have been on the phone with LG and they say my TV is operating fine. I have played with all the setting from auto detect to manually selecting HDMI and manually selecting options. Nothing will allow the Xbox to send
    HDR10 content. HELP!

    4K/1440p HDR

    I am also curious about this as well. I currently have a 1440p monitor (Dell S2721DGF) with HDR. When I go into the 4k TV details is shows that my TV does not support HDR10 for gaming. When I go into the video modes settings, it has "Allow HDR10" and
    "Auto HDR" checked. I have always been under the impression that the Xbox does not support HDR unless you have a 4k TV/monitor, but I would like to get confirmation on that.

    I am using the 4K HDMI 2.1 cables. I am thinking this is an XBOX series X and/or LG software issue as my PS5 plays just fine with the 4K settings on the LG TV and the XBOX plays on other non-LG TVs.
