Should I buy a saints row game?

From what I see they are very much like GTA, and I love the GTA games

So would I enjoy it? And what one should I get?

The story was a tad stronger in Fallout 3, but as NEUROTIC HOG wrote there's much more to do in terms of those little things. My draw with FNV is that I can actually make things unlike the last one where you needed schematics & even then you could only
make a certain amount of things.

its a fun game if you get all the updates, whice are available threw live...but FO3 was way more hardcore than vegas i think but give it a spin! its really kewl

 

You really can't go wrong with any Saint's Row game...GTA and Saint's Row do feel related but Saint's Row is a lot more wacky to me. You can get the Saint's 1 and 2 bundle pack for $20 or less and Saint's 3 for around the same or go straight to Saint's IV
but i def suggest trying all.

 

giant purple *** bat. does that sound fun to you? if so, start with the third. don't worry about story or past games, just know that you started off as a nameless voiceless kid in saints row, became the boss in saints row two, and are just wrecking *** in
wacky and crazy obscene various ways in saints row the third.

 

Second game is the best but the controls suck.

Third game has the best controls but it's story isn't as good as the second.

Honestly I would say go for the third game. It's story is that little bit weaker but it is far more fun to play.

Four is the third game with super-powers. Fun for a few hours but spoils it in the end.

 

I have 20.00 even to spend on a game (Download) other than saints row anyone got suggestions?

Red Dead redemption.

 

The Saints Row franchise is a lot of fun. Each game gets weirder and cornier after each sequel, but it's good. I haven't played IV yet, but I hear it's quite fun.

Oh and I second Red Dead Redemption.

 

I third RDR and to comment on SR, I've only played number 3, which was free and I didn't regret playing it at all, even made two characters and bought the DLC. I was going to jump into IV, but I heard some things, so I've put it off for now.

 

Saints Row is a great series. Saints Row 4 is a fantastic game, you're a super powered version of Neo from the Matrix. Running up buildings, jumping across city blocks, flying, fire and ice blasts, telekinetic powers, alien weapons and ships .... so many
ways to cause destruction. The gameplay is smooth as butter and the writing is funny as hell, it even has a Christmas DLC with Santa . Buy it, play it, love it.

 

I'd say, maybe, play some of the games you have to completion before you throw down on new games. =)

But if not, I "fourth" RDR, and I highly recommend Saints Row: The Third and IV. {XD

 

I do play my games, just mostly from a offline profile xP

RDR cost more than I had ($20) so I got the orange box, its portal half life 2 and teamfortress 2

I wish I had xbox gold though because then it would have been 4.99

 

I like Saints Row more than GTA.Theres more customization.Saints Row 2 was fantastic.I have SR 3 but havent found the time to play it yet since I have hundreds of unfinished /unstarted games.

 

The main reason I didn't like SR the third is my characters faces would always pixelate horribly when free roaming. It was nearly like there face was censored. It's a really fund game, but sometimes the horrible visuals really got to me and I saw someone
say they thought IV looked worse and I thought I'm just going to leave it for now.

Though you made a good choice with The Orange Box, I had heaps of fun with that a few years ago, I even found a fairly active community on TF, though don't know about now.
