Should I get another Xbox One?

Hello

I'm not sure if anything like this was ever answered, I'm just hoping you guys here can help me. I currently own a Xbox One and I was recently toying with the idea of getting another one for the family room. My biggest concern is that both myself and my
wife usually play games or watch netflix, hulu, and the like only one name. Would she be able to play or watch these apps under my name while I did the same in the family room? I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a game and be disrupted and vice versa.

Also how would save files work? Would I be able to play something in my room earlier in on the day, save, and then pick up from there in the evening if I wanted to play in the family room?

for use with both games i would say the rock band drums are the best to go for. The layout of the GH drums makes it awkward to play RB on. However, if your mainly playing guitar/band hero then go for the GH drums.

Plus, you can get the RB drums for under £20 from alot of places at the moment.

Neither set are perfect and will probably break so keep the receipt.

Well you can use the Lips mics, but they're terrible IMO. Pitch detection is all over the shop, especially in Rock Band 2. I'd just stick with the wired mic if I were in your shoes as it won't cost you any extra.

If I'm reading this right you are asking "Can I use a single XBL profile on two xbox ones simultaneously?" I'm almost certain the answer is no. That doesn't mean we can't find a solution here. So I know you can use one profile on a Xbox One & Xbox 360
at the same time. This would allow her/you to watch shows while the other does something else like play games. That's about the most you can do there. I know XBL useto come in family packages were you could buy two XBL profiles. I'm not sure if this is still
available.

Actually Viva, Make the new console ( or what ever console you put in the living room) your " Home" console. when you do that up to (10?) people can share your games, apps, AND Xbox live gold privilege to play games! So your family can all have their own
accounts, and not mess up you K/D

 

Also, in reference to the save file question, yes. the xbox syncs your saved games online, so when you play some where it syncs with your online game save before continuing
