    Should I get a backup or expansion hard drive


    I want to get a Segate 5T external hard drive for my xbox one. I cant decide between the expansion or backup.

    Has anyone been using a seagate backup plus fast?

    Well what do u recommend I get lol do I get a Seagate expansion 4tb a Seagate backup plus 5tb or a Seagate backup plus fast 4tb?

    If you get one red light only while your hard drive is connected then your hard drive is most likely failing. You should backup all your saves to your cloud drive or a USB drive
    IMMEDIATELY if you are able and replace your hard drive as soon as possible.

    Mind you it says "expansiion" so they're essentially the same thing.

    I have the 4TB Seagate Drive and it's great. However a buddy in IT insists Western Digital make better external drives so you really should look at them.

    I would buy an external now. There is no use trying to fit all your games into 300 gb. You will find yourself redownloading games that you had to remove.

    I have the Western Digital My Book 3 terabyte

    With 25 games and a few arcade/indies I'm at 16.6% usage.

    3T will be more than enough for me.

    Alright for anyone running into my problem this is the solution.

    1. Make a backup of your hard drive then format it on your pc.

    2. Disconnect from live

    3. Go to Setting - System - Storage - Hard drive - games and apps

    4. Delete Xbox Media Player

    5. Put backup back onto hard drive.

    6. Music should work (at least it did for me).
