1. Should I cover the One when not in use?

Just recently got an Xbox One and was curious as to whether or not it should be covered when off to prevent dust from getting in. It's in a well ventilated spot but I wanted to know for sure if it was needed or at least harmful/helpful if I do.

:)

Power Off

Prob a stupid question......

Once turning off my xbox one, is it fully off or should I unplug the brick to be fully off?

I want to cover the console when not in use as a dust cover but want to make sure it is fully off so I don't make it over heat.

3. xbox one lost in transit

I made a post on twitter about this, still no reply, but basically, a few weeks ago i sent in my xbox one because it had a few issues. I bought it brand new, and had a warranty on it. That warranty SHOULD cover it if it breaks. When sending it in, it got
lost in transit, and i will be sent a refurbished xbox one. See the problem? I have a warranty on it, i bought it new, and they were the ones who lost it. Why in the world should i be sent a refurbished one and not a brand new one? The warranty should cover
the console in that case, so I dont understand why i would be sent a used xbox and not a new one. I will be extremely unhappy if i get a refurbished one and not a new one. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

4. Should I cover the One when not in use?

Hello Vengeful Wyvern. The top of the Xbox One does collect a fair bit of dust over time, just like every item in your house would (you can see that if you look at the left part on the top of the console, the black cover next to the vent cover, there usually
is a thick layer of dust after a week or so for me) so I'm sure that dust can also fall into the console through the vent cover.

But the vent cover is made in such a way that it almost holds back every single bit of dust that tries to get into your console from the outside. Also I'm pretty sure that any dust that enters your console through the vent cover will exit through the vent
cover again once you turn on your console and the fans start spinning.

So it's not needed to cover your Xbox One when you are not using it. Can you do it? Yes, if you want to. It is in no way harmful. But remember, if you are going to cover your console ONLY do it when the console is completely turned off. You don't want to
block the ventilation of your console when the console is powered on or still hot after use.

Furthermore I recommend cleaning the outside of your console every once in a while to remove the dust that is on it. Use a soft dry paper towel or something like that, you don't want to be messing around with water near your console.

Why is it all the annihilation maps are catered to snipers?
I don't use a sniper on any of the new maps. Just my trusty AR. They seem pretty balanced to me. I'd recommend using cover to advance, don't just bull rush the enemy.
What cover? I tend to use cover when its available but on these maps it just seems like what should be cover isn't at all because most likely theres a sniper with a clear sight line to it. I think Silo might be the only one of the 4 that gives a decent amount
of cover. but even that one seems unbalanced considering one team has the advantage aiming down at the other.

I think it is fine other than the distance it stretches out to. I don't think it should be used when your opponent isn't on the cover.

Combined payment with Credit Card but not with PayPal ?

When purchasing items on the Xbox One choose the Paypal option to pay for the item. You should then be prompted as to whether or not you would like to use any credit you currently have to cover the difference
