Should i buy this xbox?

I doubt the value of this particular console will go up any time soon.

Should you decide that it is worth it, be very careful doing so, as you will be on your own.

No one will be able to tell how much it's worth in the future. It might, it might not. You take the gamble.

As others have stated, only time will tell. In my opinion,i don't believe it will increase in value or become a collectors item, but i could be wrong!

I think the original Xbox with duke controller its more likely to increase if both are boxed and kept in mint condition.

Unless its the "Day One" version of the console there isn't really any intrinsic value to it. People have held on to special editions of Xbox 360's yet they still sell both used and new online at Gamestop, regular eBay. and other online retailers for roughly
$50 dollars or less. At least that's some things I've seen. If its not a super limited edition or a true piece of gaming history (like pieces from the 70's, 80's, and some 90's video game memorabilia) its not worth buying in my opinion.

Its up to you though, if you aren't going to use the console to play it... don't buy it. Unless of course, its a unique version like a "Day One" or "Project Scorpio" or by some freak chance a prototype Xbox One. The cost for a regular 'fat' Xbox One' would
probably just go down otherwise.
