Should I Buy It?

School is almost over and me and 4 other friends are looking to buy a game that will last through the summer. This game was the first to pop into mind, so when I went to the xbox live market place to look at the gb size I saw "Better With Eso Plus". I read
about it and I think that it is a *** thing to do. But does it really affect my experience if I did not have it? Also is the game any good what so ever and I heard some iffy things like no coop on normal quests only on special dungeons and pvp.

Any other suggestions for good coop games on xbox one would be appreciated.

Its well worth the money. Just dont expect this game to go easy on you, nor for it to hold your hand. Very first level, youre dropped into an area, with a rusty dagger, and a giant boss that you need to get past. Its not a game that you can really rush,
and get through as fast as possible, and dying is...well, expect it a lot

Sorry for the generic question but I was wondering is this game a good purchase?

Watched the gamespot review and the game looks like my kind of game, I understand its meant to be hard and has a few other problems which don't really bother

Just wondering if its worth my £40?

I'd say right now this game is not worth paying for something you are wanting to have an instant experience with. It is so broken that it is virtually unplayable , especially with a friend or friends via coop. I would suggest something like Broderlands
2 or maybe even Destiny for a decent summer gaming experience with some friends.

 

Don't buy it. It's a broken game that was not ready to be released but they sold it to people anyway.

 

Don't buy until they fix the server issues. Waiting 20 minutes just to get logged in is not worth it right now. Hopefully in a few weeks the problem will be fixed but not holding my breath

 

I love all you guys complaining about its start off. It's a MMO! All MMOs have this problem at launch. WoW was the same way. The servers are never ready to handle a huge amount of people. It will stabilize pretty soon. The PC version had way more problems
then the Xbox One's version. So don't complain about a game having a horrible launch if you know jack about MMOs. This game is worth picking up. It's all on preference. Don't let angry ranters cry give you a opinion.

 

Lein, in the current state the game is not worth the buy. Once the issues are worked out it will be, but currently the log in que and the bugs do not merit a $60 price tag. You are ignorant to assume that people who play Xbox don't also play PC.

 

Wasn't being ignorant, if you want to place me as ignorant go ahead. I have had no bugs so far, all iv'e seen is the whole Log In Que which I don't have a big deal with. The game will stabilize in the next week or two. It had a hard start because of tons
and tons of people trying to log in all at once, to be honest its a bit more stable right now then it was when It came out Tuesday morning. The Que, ye, needs to be worked on, but as said, its typical MMO dealing, its happened on all MMOs, heck I had this
problem with Neverwinter when it first came out on xbox, now its stable. We all have to give it a couple more days or atleast a week and hopefully a patch is pushed out to fix it. All games aren't built in a day after all.

 

You're saying I shouldn't complain because it's an MMO? I haven't even got to the character creation screen.

 

@Yeeshkah I seen your post, I don't mean towards you, I understand what your going through. I don't understand why its taken them a while to respond to you, might be getting a lot of tickets from everybody. Your problems with your account right?

 

dont buy it just go to any forums 90% are problems so waste your money if you want a game you cant play or you play 5 min and spen another 40 to get back in just to play 5 more min. go buy Lego jurasic park or witcher 3

 

Lein, the replies to the OP have clearly stated "in the current state" the game is not worth buying where the OP asked if it would be a good purchase for a summer of gaming with friends via coop. Right now there is no point buying a game for a specific purpose
where the game is unable to fulfill said purpose.

To your point about it being a normal release for MMO and the people complaining should just deal with it. Unless you forked over the $60+ to buy their copies, it doesn't seem to be your place to dictate their displeasure with having spent the money not
to be able to enjoy the full capacity of that value of the purchase. $60+ to you might be a completely different thing to someone who might have been saving for a good amount of time for this specific release only to now be faced with "oh it's normal, you
should just shut up and wait a few weeks/months and then the game will be good to play". Why are you able to tell them how they should feel about basically paying money now for a product that is apparently not going to be good until some future date?

While I respect that you are apparently an expert at the MMO universe, people have every right to be upset that they bought this game and are unable to actually play it.

 

KNoley, how do you feel when I couldn't play this game when it was released on the PC last year. The issues it is having now are the SAME issues it had last year. As said, i'm not starting a rant war or trying to be ignorant, the game will stabilize after
a week or so goes by. As said, I bought the Imperial Edition on PC right when it came out. The PC had the same issue, log in errors and all that, mainly because too many people logged in once, overloading the server and making the servers not stable. I wasn't
able to play after a couple days went by, the game right now is a bit more stable then it was on Tuesday. As said, i'm not trying to be ignorant or anything, i'm just saying calm down, yes you have every right to be mad, every one on PC was the same way. Just
need to wait a couple days or a week and it should be fine. As said, this is a normal problem with every MMO, the servers get overloaded day one and people take to attacking the company because its the companies "Fault".

 

To lien guy , you are the problem with gaming and its people like you that have the nerve to say it is OK because its a mmo and its happened before WTF thats horse $^%^. I cant fathom that any gamer can be this delusional to think buying a game for $100
in my country after tax that this is OK , also i game on PC and PCs are different , consoles are all the same under the hood whats in mine is in yours in PCS there all diffrent so there will be issues and thats understandable .Also these devs sated countless
times they have been working hard on it and can assure us there will be no major issues LOL ya game breaking bugs of main quest NPCs vanishing and hard reset does not work as 2 days they have not appeared . It does not matter if its a mmo because for the bad
there are plenty of great releases FF on ps4 was smooth as butter , neverwinter on x1 perfect . Hell they did it before so its ok who cares well thats why they do stress testing and beta programs you don't release broken things and then think people will be
happy because the only people who can stick up for this are the worst type of gamers the fanboys and the sheep .
