    theflamm never said anything about graphics.

    Just buy Dark Souls one. Its a much cheaper title and and a worthwhile experience none the less. I'd be more than happy to offer advice too though its something you should really experience on your own. Should I buy Dark Souls, or Dark Souls 2? :)

    Well, I never said anything about it beforehand, but I do care about graphics. It's a big part of the experience.

    Should I buy Dark Souls, or Dark Souls 2?

    Start off with Dark Souls as it is cheaper and less of a loss if you don't end up liking it. Imminent Amazing game though. Then if you like that snap up Dark Souls 2 which I'm also sure is Imminent Amazing.

    It is a Dark Souls forum. Since there was no official Dark Souls 2 forum, people started using this one for Dark Souls 2 as well.

    Hello Daffodil,

    The dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin is dark souls 2 definitive edition. In description states has all of dark souls 2 content released to date and much more. So the regular dark souls 2 edition will not become backward compatible.

    Although could be wrong, as there is a dark souls remastered that is dark souls 1 out for Xbox one.
