Should I buy an elite controller? (would like opinions

Ok I am a HUGE Xbox fan and I love the Xbox one and the Xbox one X.I'm gonna buy that thing. but I want to buy an elite controller for elite gamer like me. But I am hugely concerned about the massive amounts of defects on the controller. Should I buy the
elite controller?

Help Choosing an Xbox One Console

I would like to purchase an Xbox One on Black Friday, but I'm not sure which option is the best.

Should I buy the Xbox One Elite console that comes with the Elite controller, or should I buy a normal 500GB console and purchase a 2 TB hard drive separately? Which would be cheaper and more beneficial in the long run?

On that note, is the Elite controller and console actually worth it?

I am going to get Fallout 4 for my PC; should I get Fallout 3: GOTY and/or New Vegas: Ultimate for my 360 or only get Fallout 4?

 

The elite controller is an awesome accessory, had one for a bit and have to say it takes sometime getting used to.

I've had an Elite controller since shortly after it came out. Never had any issues with it (nor any of my console controllers for that matter).

I don't throw them, nor drop them, and in certain games I can really pound the buttons. Still never had any problems.

The few times I've had to replace a controller in the past 10+ years, it was after several years of heavy usage (and they were 360 controllers). Usually I purchase a new controller because a design comes out that I like and then the previous controller turns
into a guest controller.

 

I've heard some issues like analog sticks sticking and rubber peeling off alongside d pad issues, not charging and even the gamestop reviews. I guess it is safe to say the elite controller is safe to buy after 7 months?

I've had a few problems myself; left stick issues on two controllers now. Product feels the part, it's certainly a game changer. It's a shame that this expensive product can't be registered on its own, that said support have been excellent. I'm waiting on
my replacement, got to be honest I am missing it, KD has taken a huge tumble.

 

I strongly recommend you do not buy one. My left bumper broke after 5 weeks and they will not give me a refund. After an hour of phone calls they agreed to replace it. I have to send it to Germany and wait for a replacement which will take 2 to 3 weeks.
2 to 3 weeks without a controller.

 

I've had a day 1 release of the elite controller and use it about 2-4hrs a day 3 to 5 times a week and have had no problems with mine until now. The rubber grips started to come off on one side. I found new replacements on amazon and ebay. I ordered some
from amazon and they are oem parts. I also do not abuse my controllers either so mine is still in excellent shape for 2 yr old device.

 

Not in a million years. It will fail and they're way too expensive.

 

I wouldnt buy one had mine for just over a year and it has been back for repair twice ,once for left thumb stick sticking and once for the bumper buttons to be replaced. The left thumb stick has now gone again but cant get it repaired free as it is now out
of warranty. For something that is so expensive the quality of the parts are very poor.
