Should I be worried?

Edit: Thanks to everyone who has responded! I have gotten the authenticator app on my phone. After doing some research there has also been a recent data breach of certain information that took place in January of this year, so really its no surprise I'm
getting these rude attempts.

Recently I checked my activity of my Microsoft account and decided to change the password as there have been multiple unsuccessful sign ins. I changed the complexity of it and even added a pin code when trying to play on the xbox one as well.

Should I take any further steps? And should I report this to Microsoft?

It seems like you have taken the right steps so far to lock your account up so good job. I would recommend possibly using the authenticator app as well for further protection

I would not worry to much, I recently checked mine and I also have a few unsuccessfully attempt.

It's better to just change your password now and again.

Also enabling 2 Factor Authentication will prevent people changing your password.

You've taken all the correct steps to lock down the security of your account. As mentioned the authentication app is also a great way to keep a live track of any activity with your account. It sounds like your security worked in the first place if they
failed to sign in, but you can never be too safe!
