Should gamertag change be free after a force change

My gamertag was recently forced changed to "SillyFawn262207" which is humiliating, and now I have found out that I will have to pay to get it changed. This is an insult, especially less than 24 hours after receiving my custom Xbox controller with my old
gamertag engraved onto it. A gamertag change should be made free of charge after a forced change.

Yeah, you have gotten a free name change after getting reported with that bad gamertag. I know for a fact that after you get FNCd you should be able to change your gamertag once for free on xbox.com.

I also believe that if you have customised a controller with your gamertag engraved on it, then the gamertag is forced changed, i should be entitled to a refund, would you agree?

 

You would have to try contacting Microsoft Store support for that, but there is no guarantee.

 

I don't agree. It was your choice to get something personalized. If the item still works, it's your choice if you decide to replace the personalized item or not.

Why should you get a free name change? You agreed that you would have to pay for a new gamertag if you received a forced name change.

You were given a new gamertag for free to replace the offending one.

As an ambassador this is something you should know.

You ain't getting a refund for the controller either & nor are you entitled to one,why would you even think you are?
