    Short Game Clips - 23 seconds


    I am streaming from an Xbox One to a PC and it works fine. I have the quality set to normal (not high). I use the DVR function to record a game clip (Win ALT R) and let it run for several minutes. When I stop the recording (Win Alt R) it saves only 23
    seconds, regardless of what the timer says. I have gone through the steps of cycling both the Xbox and PC, including disabling streaming on the Xbox. I have also tried by clicking the red button on the DVR window (Win G).

    What am I missing here to get longer record times?

    Longer Game DVR recordings

    You can link upto 5 clips in upload, if the clips are 30 seconds or less or more then link 5 together, save it then link another 5, save it then link both of them, as long as it is no more than 5 minutes, I have managed to link 23 clips together using the
    one.

    Plenty of people watch long game clips. Look at how popular some YouTube channels are that do long playthroughs of games. Of course it would be better if it could record longer clips, because that wouldn't stop the "30 seconds is all you need!" crowd from
    recording their short clips and it would also satisfy those who want to make longer recordings.

    I agree with you to an extent .......... a montage of 30 second clips wouldnt be so great, but a montage full of nothing but 6 second clips is equally boring.



    IMO its nice to have a mixture of a few short ones, a longer one, a few short ones ...........
