    I'm having a recurring issue with Live that I can't seem to figure out how to solve.

    My xbox will disconnect from live for a very short time (anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 minute) which pulls me right out of the game I'm playing (Warframe apparently requires constant Live access).

    This is a pain with multiplayer, but it also affects the single player part of the game, because it removes current mission progress.

    As far as solutions go, I've worked through everything I can find on this site.

    I've tried the DMZ for the router, I've then reset everything and tried port forwarding, I've factory reset the router too (A BT home hub 5), as well as power cycled it and the console in various combinations. When I'm connected I have better than recommended
    values for upload, download and ping (about 8gb+ down, 3gb+ up and >40ms ping) but when it disconnects these all vanish.

    The console is wired into the router by ethernet, although through a power plug adapter.

    Are there any other steps I could take? I tried sorting IPv6, but my ISP doesn't allow for it in my area, nor does it allow me to set up teredo via the router.

    Help would be appreciated! (preferably before I lose progress on another 45mins Plains of Eidolon exploration)

    I've tried hard resetting and updating and the controller is charged. I don't understand why that every time my Xbox disconnects from live that my controller disconnects as well. For starters I don't even know why my live is disconnecting...

    Yeh, i've been trying most of today and it still isn't working. I can join parties for the said 5-10 minutes and it still disconnects. No other device on the network is affected

    Things you have tried: Resetting router, wiring directly to router, changing IP address

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown Yes

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT? None

    Any Error Codes you encounter: None

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Virgin

    I am having the same problems, when I join a party It will be fine then the people I'm talking to start to break up and then I cant connect to the party. Also some games I want to play online on, sometimes they work for 1 game then just totally disconnect
    me, or sometimes when I get on a game it just disconnects me as soon as I get on. Im not sure weather its my wireless adapter or my BT homehub.

    It would be great if I could have some advice on this, because im not sure what to do.

    Hey there TC!

    Start troubleshoot with some basic steps.

    Clear up Xbox system cache

    Download your Xbox profile

    If you still can't connect properly, please try the next solution.

    Make sure your modem/router firmware is up to date (visit manufactures website and download the latest firmware). Make sure you reset the modem/router if you update the firmware to a later version. Access your modem/router configuration page and make sure
    UPnP is enabled. If you can't make it work with UPnP enabled then try forward the Xbox LIVE ports with Port Forwarding. Make sure you disable UPnP and DMZ with the use of port forwarding.

    It has been found that some version of Netgears "Trend Micro" can interfere with your NAT status, try disabling this feature if it is present.
