Short Blackscreens with various TV-Brands and Models

I would let you know that the XBOX One is incompatible with some TV-Brands and Models.

I think it is more than a Handfull, also that means there are a lot of TV which Support HDMI 1080p (FullHD) 50/60Hz.

It is nowhere stated that there could be Problems with a lot of TV`s, which are good and not as old and also not cheap but they also have this Blackscreen Thing.

May it is a handshake issue, or a Grafic-Chip break or a incompatible protocoll (1.4) I don^t no.

But it is distgusting that there is nowhere a warning on this, or a list whith incompatible TV`s.

Also MS could tell the TV-Brands to do an Update and let them know where the Problem could be..

It is very strange in so big timegaps (few hours) blackscreens?

I would understand if it would be every 10 seconds. but not after 4 hours fluid gaming 1 short blackscreen and than again 3 hours without Issue`s.

I will let all Costumors know that there could be a Problem with you Special TV and If you have this Problems Microsoft will let you cry like a Little Baby and does not much to hel you or even fix it.

They^ll tell you:

-Try Hard Reboot

-Try another HDMI Cable

- Try another HDMI Port

-Try another Display

-Make shure your Power Supply becomes the Power straight out wall Outler with no sockets and multi-Hub...

-Restore Factory Default

- REset Display Setting

-Make shure HDMI is well placed in Port.

I^ve spend around 1200.- Euros for my TV and thought it is armored for Next GEN. I have extra bought a 1080p FullHD with 50/60Hz and good Input-lag.

No I get Blackscreens!

Use this god D.. Standart protocolls for HDMI Picture Transfer dudes please!

Or give us the Info what is faulty on TV so we can get refund from manufactures or Retailer which has sold a product which is not doing what was promised.

Upgraded to Xbox One S now surround sound no longer works (0x80bd0009)

I have the same issue. I am very disappointed.

TV Model and Brand: Samsung UN60JS8000 (2016 model)

Soundbar Model and Brand: Samsung HWK550ZA 3.1 Channel with added optional 2.1 wireless speakers

Exactly how you have your set up right now:Xbox One S to HDMI 1 on TV and ARC HDMI 3 from TV to Sound bar

If there would be a loose Connection MY TV would Display: "There is no Signal"

But it does not.

So that means, that the XB1 is sending BlackScreen Signal and no Audio in this short break!

Definitly a XBOX Problem.

All other devices works well on My TV.

HDMI is a standart Protocol which seems to be not used by Microsoft.

 

HDMI 1.4 is a preeeeeetty standard protocol, man. I'm not saying you don't have an issue, but I'm trying to tell you it's an issue with your Xbox One. Think about it: you've tried multiple TVs and multiple HDMI cables and the problem persists. I guess it's
time to trash that Xbox One and get a PC!

 

No I have not tryied multiple TV`s!

thats the only I could not do. because I have only 1 expensive TV. and no other Display...

and the OSUDT 2 has caused System Error 101 00000504 8b050041

may It could be the xbox but If it^s on xbox I want an Exchange and during the Exchange a second xbox to Bridge the TimeGap I have sent it in repair....

 

(HINT: I was being facetious and suggesting in a not-so-subtle way that you should move to PC gaming. Do note though that HDMI 1.4 is a totally standard protocol that is pretty much independent of the monitor you're using, so ultimately I agree that it's
down to a problem with the Xbox.)
