Shopping Cart issue.

So today I attempted to purchase some in-game currency for Destiny 2, I decided to use the shopping cart feature thinking it would be easier to buy a couple bundles for different amounts instead of purchasing each separately; unfortunately that was not the
case, upon making the purchase it gave me an error saying, "Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help." So I went about my game-play for about an hour before coming back only to get the same error, seeing the error again prompted me to check
my card statement; my statement shows the amount for the bundles I purchased in pending, however, I haven't received the in-game currency nor did I get a confirmation Email from Microsoft about the purchase.

My assumption was that this amount would drop off in a few days, given I didn't receive the currency or a confirmation for the purchase. Upon contacting Xbox support via the chat feature, they confirmed that the charge would not be going through; at first
I thought, "OK, great, end of story", but my paranoia got the better of me and I decided to contact my bank, and they said that on their end it appears that the charge will, in fact, be going through.

At this point, I'm just going to have to wait and see, and hope that I get what I purchased if the charge goes through, or it just drops off. I'm honestly hoping for the latter.

I decided to recheck the shopping cart feature, primarily due to a number still being represented on the cart, and just clicking the cart gives me the error as I've indicated earlier. I'm just looking for any information about this issue, and any more clarification
to ease my mind about this whole situation.

If it goes through you should get the Silver but if you don’t, contact bungie support and see if they cant push the items through on their end. If you cant get them to follow through.

make sure you can prove you arent being fraudulent and charge it back to your card through your bank (I dont know if thats possible where you are from)

As said by the member above, adding the product to the cart does not make it yours, as other people at this very moment must be trying to buy, so it is necessary that in addition to adding to the cart, you must click on buy to avoid this type of problem.

I never said just because i added something in cart it's mine. my concern is why can't i access my cart. or add anything (phone, surface, etc..) to cart. and i also don't care about other retailers nor i said anything about them I'm talking about Microsoft.com and as you said there is 1000's of people trying to buy at same time; how am i suppose to try to get my order placed unless i keep on clicking/refreshing my cart, when it seems like by me refreshing my cart 1000's of time my account is now locked.

You have to remember it's not just all bots and ms can't control what other retailers do

When ms or other retailers sell consoles you ate talking about 100-1000 consoles online so having a console in the cart doesn't reserve yiur console.

It's not till you hit purchase

You are competing against 10000s of other users

I personally didn't have to wait as I got my series x at launch

What can help your chances

Since scalpers don't like contract nor do they like less profit
