Shooting while driving?

I've been playing this since it came out, with what little time I have, and have suddenly realized that I have yet to shoot while I'm driving a vehicle. I've hit all the buttons while driving, yet no shooting. Am I just missing something, or is it not
possible to shoot while driving? Thanks!!

Archery problem

The only time that I had something similar happen (patch 1.4) was when I was shooting down at an enemy while I was near a ledge. But I have never had this problem while shooting straight at an enemy.

 

Not possible. Strange but true.

 

You can, however, use jam coms while driving.

 

i don't know why people are puzzled by this. The reason you can't shoot while driving is because Aiden (you) is supposed to use your phone while you drive to hack into various things. how could he do that AND shoot?? he would need a 3rd arm to do so...This
game is not marketed as being silly ala' saint's row the 3rd. It is based on the not too distant REALISTIC future where hacking is the main play mechanic of the game, not shooting. It let's you know that because you CAN shoot while driving in co-op, you're
passenger does all the shooting.

 

It's a pain when the copter is tailing you and you're trying to get away. I have to stop, get out of the vehicle, zap the copter, get back in the car and get away. Jam-com does nothing to the helicopters!

 

Why would jam coms affect helicopters?? it's to jam communications, hence JAM-COMS... makes no sense to have it affect helicopters if they are already there.... if you can't get away , drive under the train tracks or into a tunnel.

And, if you could fire a gun, you'd be able to shoot at the helicopter while driving?

 

I just think that if you can be shot at well others are driving then you should be able to shoot back

 

The reason they can shoot you while they are driving is because they have more than one person in their cars and it is those people that are shooting at you...like i said before, you can do the same IF you are playing co-op.
