Shoes And The Xbox One X...

So today Amazon re-stocked on Xbox One X pre-orders. Although I literally have no excitement over this console, I decided to pre-order it anyway. It's less than one weeks pay so I figured "What the heck.". I did get a "kick" out of the targeted "Save
$5 on your next Shoes purchase". I think I order too many shoes. lol

So if anyone is like me and has waited to make up their mind on an Xbox One X purchase, apparently Amazon has some in stock at the moment.

Actually, even the Xbox One X is cheaper than most of the shoes I own. Although I have to say, at the moment, it is NOT worth its price due to a very weak game lineup IMO.

 

I think I will pre-order some shoes for now....maybe I will get $5 off a console after the new year?

I haven't even preordered my X yet but I'll do it this Saturday. I'll get it from EB Games. With JB Hi Fi (if you live in NZ or Australia, you'll know what it is) you have to go down and up some escalators. NZ had a long public holiday weekend last weekend
retailers had big sales but non on the X. But I got some Hush Puppies sandals in time for the long summer holidays which in NZ/Australia is December and January. I won't even need to worry about a delivery/shipping fee, just the console.

Not ordered any shoes but have ordered a nice new pair of steel toe-cap rigger boots for work.

But I put my pre-order in two months ago on a Project Scorpio Edition.

The first time that I have ever pre-ordered a new console.

lol... Why would I care about your receipt? (if it's even yours) You're gonna be disappointed if you think I care about anything you post too. As for where have I been? It's called life. Try it sometime. lol

 

I've been preordering games and consoles far longer than you've had hot dinners, smileskybird, but in all that time I've NEVER plonked down the *full* amount for a preorder! That's just impulsive, compulsive CONSUMERISM. Nowt wrong with that, some may argue
(as it least ensures that *you* are guaranteed a console on launch day), but it rather does send the message (to the retailer) that you're gullible and will likely swallow any PR nonsense or pre-launch bants in the future. Play *smarter* than that! Never give
'em the full amount just in case something goes wrong at the last minute... like product shortages leading to stock reallocation between stores.

And sure, you may've coughed up the full amount (thereby lulling you into a false sense of security), but how often do you buy from the retailer in question? I noticed it's an EB Games receipt, so you *should* have a loyalty card, yeah? Mine is a Level 4
card for EB Games AU, and that's a top-tier customer status. For argument's sake, what say that your store only received ten (10) Xbox One X's and there were eight (8) Level 4 customers and only two (2) lower-tier customers? In the eyes of the company, [your]
customer status may be deemed less valuable to them and all that pre-order dosh would be for nowt... at least until new stock arrived!

Oh, and that receipt kinda convinces me that you don't take your preorders SERIOUSLY... it looks like you pulled it from the trash basket at the last minute just so can take a pic and somehow "prove" your loyalty. Whenever I'm provided with a receipt, I
fold it NEATLY away and store it in a shoebox at home! #BasketCase
