    On 20-4-15 my console was sent for repair after only 10 months of owning it. After 2 weeks i have it back however having paid £400 for it and £39.99 for Live for 10+ years i thought it would be expected for me to ask for some form of good will gesture for
    the problems. Instead the customer service rep gave me links to the free games from the store! 10 months, broken xbox, loss of Live, 2 days off work for collection and return, loss of pre order perks on various titles and for what?
    [Mod Removed]! Yet again Microsoft amaze with their lack of after care!

    Poor Customer Service - Faulty Controller

    That's shocking jerrellm13. So not only do you end up getting back a second hand controller but have to pay extra for the privilege.

    I swear Microsoft used to give better service.

    Not sure why you expect a good will gesture from a business, I don't know of many that would give you anything. I know Sony and Nintendo doesn't.

    Returning your console doesn't lose you any pre-order perks as you can get them by pre-ordering through Xbox.com itself so you don't need your console.

  5. Because after £400 for the console i expected to at least hit the 12 month mark! and no, i couldnt get pre order perks as they are redeemed in game every monday so lost out there too not to mention 2 weeks Live

  7. RONALDO you should count yourself lucky I spent £450 on a first edition and have nothing but trouble from it broken disk drives broken countrolers and the final straw was the latest update bricking my console and being told that because its 1 month out of
    warranty they want £115 to repair it and there is no gauentee that next time there is an update it will not brick it again

    Man what do i get than i am on my 3 rd Xbox one and i went through 11 360 consoles all in a two month section and guess what i got nothing , but sorry Sony does give stuff as i have had two broken ps3 consoles and on the first they gave a year subscription
    then they gave me a choice of a game and went with killzone for ps4 so they even let me pick a ps4 game even though it was not a ps4 that broke . Why because Sony works in a hive mind setting all there servers and systems are like one not like the x1 and 360
    there a mess on that front from achievements don't show on the other or on the new x1 windows achievements don't show but they do on the 360 or download lists and so much more. Thats the great thing i can go on my vita ps3 , PSTV , or my PS4 and look at my
    trophies i can see all games i own & downloaded and even start downloading them from other systems and its even got a great blog site with info were we get nothing major nelson blog is the closest and its junk nothing is posted until the day the game releases
    so who cares most people want info before that why ps blog is amazing you know two weeks in advance whats coming and how much on the x1 they just randomly show. wonder if there is anything new tonight on x1 because on ps4 i knew two weeks ago

    Things do break from time-to-time, be it in 1 month after purchase or 12 months.

    Be glad that Microsoft offer free repair or replacement within the warranty period, as well as free collection and delivery, as well as the warranty extension and 1-month XBL.
