    Ship discs back to Microsoft for DL code?


    I own a bunch of random games purchased before starting to strictly go electronic download (lots especially from the early days of X360). Does Microsoft have a program to ship back the original disc, case & manuals included, in exchange for a digital download
    ownership code? I travel & prefer the flexibility of not having to carry discs. Would even be willing to pay a small processing fee, but really don't want to just re-buy the game again. Sending the original discs would be proof of ownership.

    Extremely long install times.....

    I live in Kansas and all my installs, game discs, game dl's and system updates take forever IMO. Forza horizon 2 dl took 4.5 hours to dl and install, titanfall took 9 hours back in the spring....so I guess it's improving some eh?

    MICROSOFT! Please sell and ship the console without the GAME in the box like promo xbox unpacking for magazines and add a DL-Code for later on...i don't care about the game yet, just the xbox and kinect!

    wasnt there the idea to convert Discs to DL Codes?

    As far as i know every Disc (yes, every) has a uniqe SN Code.

    That is a really good Question.

    Maybe ask Xbox Suport for that and tell us what they say.

    I really wish all DLC was available to buy on an expansion pack disc, no DL codes and whatnot just straight up on the disc. Any chance they'll do this for all three games?
