Shenmue 3? Is it PS4 only same with FF7?

Both consoles have good games coming out for them, makes me glad I have both. Big fan of Shenmue 1 and 2, so I'm over the moon we will finally get the final installment. Still pinching myself.

 

Doubt ff7 will be ps4 only as it says "coming to playstation 4 first" so it will come

Thats what they did with warframe,outlast and so many others its just a waiting game.plus you got a few years for anthing to happen

 

Fleshmanz what I don't get is why you care so much just buy the ps4 I have both consoles I barely play the ps4 but I have it so when Sony has a rare exclusive I need to play like uncharted 4 I can

 

Somewhat kinda shows you that all Microsoft cares about anymore is Halo, Gears of War, and Forza. Microsoft needs to get more new IPs if they want some former Xbox fans back, most of them don't care about Halo, Gears of War, and Forza anymore.

Ori, Quantum Break, Recore, Ryse, and Sea of Thieves are great start, but Microsoft should continue to make new IPs, enough with Halo already they should have wrapped up the trilogy with Halo 3 or Reach.

The problem is ( ok not a problem that's a matter of life or death ) but when you own just one console there's always going to be a game or two on the other you wish you could play. I bet the majority of Xbox One/PlayStation 4 only owners will look at games
the other has and wish they could play. It's the way it's always been though, deals are made, money thrown around to make games exclusive ( in some cases timed ) just the way it is.

I'm fortunate enough to own both consoles, I'm personally not bothered about Final Fantasy but can't wait for Shenmue, I'll be at the front of the queue for that one.

So for me having both consoles you have the best of both worlds but I do appreciate that not everyone is in the position to own both but I still think going by my own preference in games, even just owning one there's some stunning looking titles ahead for
both, Forza 6, Elite Dangerous, No Mans Sky, Uncharted 4 to name but a few.

 

Lofty Who, I'm now a Xbox One only owner now, I've sold my PS4 back in February due to lack of quality games (The Order 1886 was my last straw) and awful fanbase. The only PS4 game I feel I'm missing out on is Bloodborne and I wish FromSoftware made that
game on Xbox One & PC as well, but too bad Sony published it, so it will never happen.

Well there's one PS4 game you would like lol! I bet even with the die hard Xbox/PlayStation fans, there's at least one title they like the look of on the other console. They would never admit it though, heaven forbid they said something positive about the
other camp

You mention the awful fanbase on PS4? To be honest and granted I use Xbox LIVE a lot more but I've found like anywhere, there's some great people on both networks, unfortunately you will always find idiots as well, again I've encountered these on both networks.

To be honest it's the fanboys ( from both sides ) that partly ruin it these days. Especially on forums/Twitter etc! It's just like a never ending playground argument, "My toy is bigger than yours" ..."Mines much shinier" .... boring boring boring!!!!

As I said before, I'm lucky that I have both consoles and there's quite a few titles I want on both this year and next so I won't miss out. For those who only have one, I still think there's a lot of great titles for you to choose from and not just exclusives,
there's some fantastic multiplatform games out, yet to be released.

A great time to be a gamer.

 

Shenmue is my favourite game series of all time, would love to see it on xbox ideally but i have a PS4 so im fine with that too, would of had to buy one for this game if i didnt. Just hoping they also bring out some shenmue merchandise along with the game,
i wouldnt be able to resist it if they do, nor want to.

 

Guarantee you will see both on X1 at some stage but you won't see them on ps4 anytime soon either. Don't really care about these games either way.

 

I'm more disappointed that none of the publishers picked up Shenmue 3 and give it a budget deserving of a AAA title. $2 million is peanuts and even though Sony pumps money into this I doubt it will reach $40-60 million minimum which is what is required of
for todays AAA games.

^^ I will live in hope, i highly doubt Yu Suzuki will deliver a sub par shenmue 3 experience, and at the moment i am just happy with the notion it is finally happening

Yep OP, it is a very clear sign of MS failing. It's kinda sad that in your other Thread it got locked and you were attacked by the locals because you voiced your concerns in regards to the future of Xbox One and its continuing
descent into critical failure.

It didn't get locked because he was voicing his concerns. It turned into a flame war about trolls. This thread didn't get locked. Stop jumping to hasty conclusions like you have been lately in regards to MS failing etc.

 

I've noticed that Lost Kauz is just another typical Sony fanboy, Sony is in more trouble than Microsoft is right now, Sony might go bankrupt in a few years later.

 

Lost is in the middle of some extreme personality dilemma, he's gone from xbox fanboy to xbox hater over the last 12 or so months.

As for these games, it's just one of those things. If you really want what Sony has, go with PS4 and go enjoy them games. If you want what both consoles have, save up and get both consoles. We aren't locked into a contract with our consoles, just do what
you want to do.

I personally would love No Man's Sky to come to xbox first, and I'm not gonna buy another console for one game, so I'm just going to have to wait it out unfortunately.
