Shenmue 3? Is it PS4 only same with FF7?

I am disappointed regarding Shenmue 3 as well. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot that is known about Shenmue 3. And the original Shenmue cost (i believe) 47 million dollars back in the late 90's. And i am not certain if that price is adjusted for
inflation either. Shenmue is cult classic... I enjoyed them thoroughly. But it hardly gathered any support on the feedback website with 3500 votes. (i understand the entire Xbox community doesn't use the website). But the kickstarter does show an impressive
amount of interest.

Regarding FF7 they did say "play it first on PS4". This sounds like a timed exclusive. Personally, this does not interest me. But i understand the nostalgic factor. I think it will only go to PC, because the older games from the 90's were only on the
competitors consoles. Xbox is still the young underdog in this race.

And backwards compatibility.... Almsot all of the games are coming. There will be over a hundred by the end of this year, and hundreds by thus time next year. I believe you will have access to all the older games you want to play with backwards compatibility

 

Did Sony really taken Shenmue away from Microsoft?

The first two games were garbage. The first one was such a money pit for Sega they couldn't keep the Dreamcast alive.

Sadly yes, glad to be an owner of both!

 

Proud owner of the Xbox One as of last month, I will give the PS4 another chance when it starts to have good games.
