I personally thought this was due to design. I mean if they were dead set against it wouldn't they make it so you have to log in for it to work and only allow you to be logged in on one device at a time? Either way, if it is against the ToU / CoC then I
would of course refrain from doing it but I figured this was a way to 'home share' so to speak. I cant find anything that can back it up or go against it.

  2. Bingo: It's vague but precise enough for me.

Xbox Wire - Your source for news, information, product releases, events, sports, entertainment & exclusive content relating to Xbox

Everyone in your home can share digital games with each other. Your Xbox One can become your virtual game library filled with digital games that different people in the home bought. Anyone
can pick any digital game on your Xbox One, sign in with their own gamertag and play – even if the owner is not signed in. Like physical media, you can also play many digitally downloaded games without being online, although experiences will be best when connected
to the internet and Xbox Live. Finally, when you purchase a digital game, you can start playing even before the entire game downloads.

That pretty much says to me that it's okay. The only difference is that we are sharing it at the same time, rather then in turn, which I am sure is absolutely fine. I cant find a shred of anything that goes against it, now if I was doing this across
different buildings and not keeping it to my 'home' then that is a totally different kettle of fish though I think what I am doing is acceptable. If the ToU / CoC update to reflect otherwise, then I will desist. It does also say on that page that if you buy
a game on a friends console then it will be readily available to the home console for anyone to use. So the scenario fits. Hope this helps ^

@fyerball, Asking the question "How is it not theft?", is saying you think its theft, explain to me why I am wrong, so you are saying its theft. You could just ask the quest, is that theft? in which case it would be neutral.

Your willing to to say its is without proof, I am not sure why it takes guts, we could both look through the terms and conditions. Thats calling the kettle black to me.

Its a grey area, even if MS say its fine, that doesn't mean the publishers do, the chances are there will be terms and conditions that say yes and no if you look hard enough.

@Cloud, I think it was done by design, i think it was done for DRM, but removing all of it would have ment delays and a massive rethink, TBH its good for MS, its not so good for the publishers, but publishers lose out to other things as well and I bet they
gain just as much as they lose.

Yeah I think its design too. Its too open to not be intentional. Publishers IMO get plenty of money nowadays. I would never go out and pirate a game but at the same time I wouldn't go and spend twice the cost for the same object. I mean 2 x Destiny and 2
x Expansion pass = shy of £155. That's too expensive for my liking. I am happy to move forward given the above sentence from the link. The fact they put a full stop and made it its own sentence "Everyone in your home can share digital games with each other."
is good for me. There are no 'buts' or 'ifs'.

Like I said though, if they change the rules or make them more dominant at least, then I will respect that but I agree that its something to be intentionally used but not exploited.

So do you think the extra digital price is so partly for this purpose? and then does it penalise the singles?

Although I would happily pay £25-35 for a DD, and £10 for other people to play it in the same way it works now.

  7. That's a very good point buddy, I bet it could factor into that some how.

I'm the same, I wouldn't mind a small cost increase but I can no way afford multiple copies of the same game, each time a good game is released. If they ever do revise it then they should charge 2 versions of licence's.

Single use licence (only one person can play) £35 - £40

Multi use licence (anyone in the same home can play) £45 - £50

Its funny because COD have dual license additions that allow one person to play it on both the 360 and one, but refused to take into account 2 people in the same household. Lots of options just one track mind from big companies.

  9. Exactly ^

Looking back I cant believe I did that dual deal with CoD. I barely played that one game what so ever and was left pretty disappointed afterwards. It'd be nice if they collaborated with that ideology you post ^

@EnenDaveyBoy I'm done talking to you. I simply asked you (first I might add) to simply show me where it said it was ok. I only asked because you said yes and I thought maybe you really did know. You want to argue about this and that, personally I have better
    thing to do.

@Cloud, awesome job mate. Thanks for finding that. I was really hoping that was the case.

@fyerball, I am gutted, good to see people using the internet are happy to believe posted on a forum without doing any research what so ever, especially when the date of the page is over a year old and when its before the one launch.

Oh, and I am not arguing I am simply replying

I don't mean to rain on the parade but i wouldn't post it here, it can be considered marketplace theft, and another person would have full access to your account at all times. In the future i would post stuff like this in the forums as its not good for your
account and that goes for anyone in the future,

Can you play the same game at the same time ? for example do you have one copy of Destiny ?

Always wanted to know, did not realise you both had that setup :)

You would just need to set another console as your home console.

I would also reccomend changing the password on your account in case the person that you are currently game sharing with has his console set to automatically sign you profile in and he cant set his console as home console after you switch which console is
    your profiles home console.
