Ok thinking bout getting the new COD digital and i was wondering is there a way to buy it once then me and my Mrs can play it on two xbox ones in dif rooms?

Is it allowed to share an xbox one account?

Yes simply set your console to her home and her console to your home, buy it on one account, put the buying GT's on both consoles, download it on both and your done.

 

yes in the same household on the same connection, no if your thinking of doing this with friends, basically you must own both consoles.

 

That's exactly what me and Laura do. Hers is set as the home console, and my profile is on it. Giving her access to all my games as well as my gold membership. It's one of the best features!

 

Can you play the same game at the same time ? for example do you have one copy of Destiny ?

I have my Xbox in the bedroom. On there is my profile and all my games (digital).

Laura has her console in the front room (which also has my profile on it). Her console is set to be the 'home console'. Due to this, she is capable of being online at the same time as me and playing any of my games at the same time, as though she was playing
her own games on her own membership.

It cuts a lot of cost, which is great.

 

How is that not marketplace theft? Is it stated somewhere you can do that in the same home?

 

because thats how the licensing works, no they don't have to be in the same place because MS put travel into mix.

Funny enough MS haven't removed the old info from the net, so even if they took you to court they is plenty of MS info saying sharing digital content is acceptable.

 

It may work, yes. it is possible but you could also do a license transfer on the 360. Just because something is possible does not me it's not against the rules. They wont take you to court, they will ban you, your account and Xbox.

 

Number of people banned for license transfer? very few to none.

They can't ban you for something they are saying is fine online, and if they did they would be banning a lot of people, I think 1 person I play with doesn't do it, and most of the people I talk to and are on my friends list do it.

Its well known, well documented, and used by a lot of people. (its also been talked about a lot on the forums), happy to be pointed to the T&C that say its not acceptable.

 

Why point you anywhere? I never said it was wrong. My FIRST post here asked where is says it is ok. You have yet to provide that. I would think of you are saying its all good you would have proof to back it up.

I would say its a grey area, I don't have to prove anything, your the one wanting proof your more than welcome to read through the T&C and lets us know whats right and wrong.

The system has limitations, and although used widely, and sometimes abused, there are worse things you could do which would get you banned or gain the attention of the publishers.

 

No I am asking how its not theft. Maybe it is maybe it's not I am not saying it is in any way. I want to know but my guess is you are full of it. You are not willing to back up your statement.

If you are going to tell someone that something is ok to do at least have the guts to prove why you say it.
