Sharing Xbox live question

My brother and I both have an xbox in the same house I just bought a 3rd one for the living room im using my gamertag for 2 xboxes but when I try and play a multiplayer game on the new xbox it says I dont have gold my question is do I need to reset his xbox
to the Home xbox If I cant how can I switch my new xbox so I can play multiplayer?

You'll only need one gold sub which you can share.

Hi in reply to your question Yes you could share gold with her but your account would have to be on her xbox and your account would have to be signed in to share xbox live. With setting the home xbox's yes you both would be able to share games if both of
you have each other xbox's set as home. You only can game share 3 times a year though.

Are you sure all the other profiles are signed out and only the one with gold is signed in ? I'm not really up on "Home xbox" stuff , sorry ...

MrHomicidex, your profile is showing as "free" here. Since your account is not Gold, you will only be able to play multiplayer if you are using the home console of somebody with a Gold subscription. If your brother has the Gold account, you will only
be able to share that Gold on the one console he designates as his home console.

 

So would I have to log on his name on the new xbox then designate home xbox then log back into mine so I can use xbox live share?

 

Hi folks!! I Have the same doubt!! In my case, my brother and I have a xbox one each! and my girlfriend recently purchased another console! It´s possible we three share the game with us?? All the accounts are Gold.

My question is similar. I have 2 xbox ones will be getting a third. How do I let the kids get access to my digital library or live. If only one xbox can be my home xbox?
