Sharing xbox live gold with son

Does your son have an xbox live gold account or is there a gold account with gold sharing set up on the console?

As others say to you, you can easily share your Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.

Power On your Son's Console -> Download your Profile (you need email and password of your gamertag/account) -> navigate to Settings page and set your Son's Console as HOME for your Gamertag.

In this way your Son can use your Xbox Live Gold and play online without problems.

Your Son have also access to your game/DLC library (digital purchase).

So my old Xbox one has gold live but it’s not linked to any profile. My son uses it and we gamer share but i can’t use the gold live

It depends on how you have your gold set up. You can only share gold on 1 console at a time. If the gold is tied to one of your son's accounts, they would need to set the other son's console as their Home console in order to share the gold with the other

If the gold is tied to your account, you would only be able to share on 1 of the 2 consoles. Then you would either need to be signed into the non-Home console or purchase gold on the 2nd son's accounts.

Thank you for keeping us updated. It is not possible to move saved data, games and downloadable content from one account to another. You can have your son use the Xbox profile on your account, but he will not have access to any games that are purchased
on his account or his saved data. You can only share your Xbox Live Gold subscription on one console at a time. The best option in this scenario is to place Xbox Live Gold on your son or daughter's account instead of yours, and have your son or daughter's
account
