Sharing XBOX Live Gold - 3rd console

Hi.

I've never had any problems before as my son has always been part of my xbox family account and he has had his own console and has as part of my family, been able to access multiplayer games (Roblox) being a subsidery of my xbox gold account.

For Christmas, we have bought my 6 year old daughter her own console and I have added her also to my family account.

When trying to access Roblox, it kept telling her she needed xbox live so after checking online, I saw that I was only allowed to share my account with one other console (my son) so I bought her, her own xbox live gold subscription.

I've since realised that I have never logged in to her console with my adult account which i'm unsure that I should have done?

When opened at Christmas I just created her account on the new xbox then added her account to my family account. Not sure if I should have created her account on my xbox and THEN logged her in on her new one?

Is what I have done the correct way of adding a third console to our family?

I know there is a way of making an xbox the "home" xbox which i remember doing way back when I set my sons console up but not sure if I need to make her console the "home" one at any point to get her working

On a seperate note...

I'm currently dealing with a dispute with the online provider of the EU code I bought for her console as it says it was purchased not in my region (EU) even though I'm based in Cyprus (EU)

They tell me it's a Microsoft issue, Microsoft say it's their problem. Arghh!

on the second issue thats an issue wuth your card provuder

One xbox subscription codes are region locked and I dont think you fully understand how regions work

When it says its not the correct region code it means wrong country NOT continent

There are no universal codes nor can codes be exchanged you have to deal woth your provider

Cyprus isnt a xbox live region either

As far as I know that you only can set home on one console (Your son), which makes anything your account owns carry on to any other account as long as they are using the console that has your account set home as. You can only set one console as home. so
the only way you solve this is having your account login automaticly on your daughters console, this allows your daughter to play on her account and have xbox live, but you cant use your account while your daughter has it logged in in the background, but if
you want to use your console and your daughter to use her console you will have to pay for the subscribtion. Sorry.

It would not have mattered if you logged in on her console. You have added her to the family and purchased a subscription, so she can play online. Everything you did was correct.

So you can only share HOME console with one other, which shares the gold, so having a second live subscription is correct. If you make your daughters the home console, your son will no longer have Xbox live features that the home console offers.

You can definitely only have one console set as your Home Xbox console. If you already have one Xbox set as your Home, but another child wants to play through your games on a different Xbox, then they would likely need to play them through the Xbox set
as your Home. Sadly you can't set this up for multiple consoles that way.
