Discus and support Sharing screenshots from Horizon 3 to Xbox live in Windows 10 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So if i take a screenshot in Horizon 3 (Win+Alt+Print screen) and then try to share it it says "You can not share gameplay" or something like that....     Sharing screenshots from Horizon 3 to Xbox live in Windows 10


    So if i take a screenshot in Horizon 3 (Win+Alt+Print screen) and then try to share it it says "You can not share gameplay" or something like that. Haven' Tried it in any other game because i only have Forza, neither do i have Xbox.

    Hey there -

    If you haven't yet, first step to try is to try
    reinstalling     your copy of Forza Horizon 3. If that doesn't work, can you provide us with a screenshot of your PC's DxDiag please?

    Alright guys, so what is the deal with Game DVR?

    Guys i think i found the reason for not being able to save screenshots, i didn't have Live Gold, i had a 2-day Gold Trial code from my physical purchase of Sunset Overdrive, i activated it, all the screenshots that i took after activating can now be saved and shared to OneDrive or Twitter, although any screenshot taken before the Live Gold activation still can't be saved or shared. Man this is unnecessary. Also thanks guys for your pointers.

    Thanks for coming to the Xbox forums. We understand having issues uploading videos. You can take a look at the page for

    edit and share game clips    .

    Game clips (under 30 minutes long) and screenshots of popular PC games and any game available through the Microsoft Store can be shared to Xbox Live. They aren’t automatically uploaded from Windows 10.

    1. In the Xbox Console Companion app, select
      Captures      .
    2. Select On Xbox Live.
    3. Select the game clip or screenshot you want to share.
    4. Select Share, and then choose where you want to share it.

    Would you please share your network connection test with the Xbox Live servers? Test using your main account, please:

    - On Windows 10, please go to Start > Search and click on Xbox Network.

    - On Windows 11, please open the Xbox Companion app > Settings (the gear icon) > Network.

    Please share a screenshot of the result. I'll be waiting.

    I've created a new user account on my windows 10 PC and the issue still remain. It does the same if im taking a screenshot or clip from PC then try to share from my xbox one. take note that if i take a screenshot or clip from my xbox one and upload it from
    my xbox one well i can share my screenshots or clips right away without waiting 5 to 6 hours. I've spoke almost an hour with xbox tech support today and after quiet some research, he came with the conclusion that we gotta have to wait until a new xbox app
    update is available before we can fix that issue. Tell me someone have a solution because 5 to 6 hours just to share a single screenshot seems a little bit too much.

    Yes, Forza Horizon 3 offers seamless Cross-Play support powered by Xbox Live, linking players on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC together in the same game session. This is all confirmed and explained

    here.

    You would still need Xbox Live Gold to play online on Xbox though. However, you don’t need Xbox Live Gold to play online on PC.
