    Sharing on profiles


    My son and I both have profiles on Xbox one. The console is set for family sharing.

    my son has up until now used my profile to play fortnite and has gained skins/v bucks etc, to the value of around £150.

    I have just added him to microsoft as a family member purely so i can control his screen time.

    Although this is now set up on his login he has no access to what he has gained on this game and is back to the beginning.

    It is set for family sharing!!!!

    How can I rectify this

    Sharing on profiles

    Game progress is tied to the account and cannot be shared. So if he had been playing on your account, it is tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another account. He would have to start over on his own account or continue playing on your account.

    No. If your 5 home Xbox changes have been used already then you will have to wait 1 year from the first time it was changed.

    Support wont be able to reset it either. The only exception to this is if you had just bought a new Xbox or had recieved a refurbished one through a repair.

    It would only be if he changes his Home console.

    Also, hopefully you're not actually using his profile, just sharing his content. Sharing profiles themselves violates the code of conduct.
