Sharing Live account on separate xboxes in same house

There is no longer a family plan, that went out with the Xbox 360. That is why they created the home xbox option

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.
3. Do either of the following:
   • Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.
   • Select Remove this as my home Xbox to remove the designation.

When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your previous home Xbox. In other words, when you switch your home Xbox, access to your content
comes with you to your new home Xbox, and anyone signed in can enjoy it. Your previous home Xbox will still give your friends and family access to your stuff when you’re signed in to it.


What you can share

Share these with anyone who signs in to your home Xbox:

• Your Xbox Live Gold subscription
• Games and downloadable content from the Microsoft Store
• Games from a Game Pass subscription

Account-specific items can’t always be shared. Some examples are:

• Game-specific content like Minecraft Skin Mashups or Halo REQ Packs purchased with in-game currencies
• In-game currency such as Minecraft Coins
• Certain pre-order bonuses and special edition content that can only be redeemed once

You only need one subsription to use the features on both consoles. Make sure the person without the subscription attached to their account plays on the console set as your personal home console, and you play on the other console. Then you should both be
able to share the subscription.

My family has 4 accounts....but we live in 4 separate houses .... The point is after a certain age the person using the account should be responsible for the cost of the account. Simply because one house has 4-5 or 6 gamers living in it....they get it cheaper?
that is what makes no sense.

I live in a college/ university town...there is literally 100s and 100s of houses with 4-6 students living together unrelated. but in your opinion they should get it cheaper then my family does because we all live in separate houses.???

I prefer a system where everyone pays their fair share....you Wanta play you gotta pay. No free rides same rules apply to everyone.

I figure if you can afford 4 Xbox ones and 4 copies of COD. Then you can afford 4 annual live subscriptions that actually cost you penny a day.
