Sharing Games wioth Family (Xbox Pass PC)

Hi,

I'm trying to share my games library with my son. We are both using Win 10 PCs on the same network.

I'm usiung Xbox GameP **** for PC (the £6.99 per month version)

I've added my son to the Microsoft family service and can control his access times on his PC.

I'v installed xbox game pass on his PC and have logged onto Game pass on his PC with both my and his accounts.

On his account it is asking him to buy the game pass to play any game.

Welocme thoughts or instructions on how to configure the family sharing.

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Unfortunately, there is no way to share an account on the PC in the same way that it is done on Xbox consoles, as they do not have a setting to set the device as a home that exists on the Xbox, that is, it will not be possible for both of them to use the game at the same time.

But what can be done is you log in with your account, in the case of the person who pays for the subscription, this account will be logged in the Microsoft store of the person's pc who does not have the game pass.

On this pc the person who does not have the game pass will log in with her profile on the Xbox app, this will probably allow her to access her subscription.

Game Pass can't be shared on PC at the momemt, but the games downloaded on the Home Xbox can be shared if they are a Game Pass title. Here is some more information from a previous forum thread that might help.

That's not right, Many Websites list this as an option, please show us how to properly set this up, I dont pay 15 a month just for myself!
