Sharing games pass games with my children.

Hello everyone,

I’m sure there is something simple I’m missing but could someone help me please. I have just purchased an xbox s series, all set up and activated a game pass ultimate and downloaded a few games. I have my 3 children set up as a family account all using this
one xbox. My issue is if they try to play the games it says the owner of the games must be signed in etc. Surely there is a way my children can play these games without me needing to be logged in each time, even perhaps use the games pass to download other
games.

Using your account; head into Settings, General, Personalisation and head down to My Home Xbox. Set your console as your home xbox and then try signing out of your account and into one of the children's accounts.

Will there ever be same pc sharing with game pass on pc, ae would like my children to play on own account, as they can on Xbox.

Sorry you're upset. However EA Access is not available as part of the Game Share program as per EA. If you other children would like to play games from the Vault they would need to have their own passes

Yes, my account is already set as Home Xbox on my console and all the other purchases I've made under my account have been accessible with my children's accounts as well. What I am asking is the following:

1. Is the Minecraft Dungeons Ultimate DLC is sharable like this or not with my children's accounts if I purchase it with my own (Home Xbox) account?

2. If not then should I purchase the DLC directly with any of my child's account, even though the Game Pass subscription with the base game comes with my own account?

3. In that case, do I need to purchase it multiple times if both of my children want to have it and play it together?

4. Is there a way/place to check whether the DLC can be shared or not? Like what about the Adventure Passes Luminous Night and Cloudy Climb? Are they sharable like this or should i again buy them directly from my children's accounts?

they can't both be your home Xbox.

You all need to be on the same single Home Xbox in order to share games and subscriptions. Some games like call of duty cannot be shared, and access to the cloud is limited to the account holder

since you don't play Xbox I recommend putting one of your children as the lead account, buy the subscription on their account which you can do through the dashboard by going to the game pass icon, and choose their Xbox as both children's home Xbox.
