    Sharing Game Pass Ultimate - Can this be done ?


    Hi,

    There are loads of guides out there on sharing Game Pass and I think this is possible but it is not working for me, here is the scenario.

    Have an xbox one with 2 profiles, mine which has the ultimate subscription, and a second profile - my daughters.

    Just got a Series X and have given the kid the xbox one for her bedroom.

    The Series X also has both profiles.

    Now, when my daughter tries to play Roblox in her bedroom, under her profile - and I try to play a game pass game on my series X - under my profile, it says that I am already playing on a different console and we just kick each other out.

    Is that expected behaviour ? Can we only share gold/gamepass as long as we dont play at the same time ?

    On PC, even if Xbox Game Pass Ultimate there is no option to share it yet but if you're pertaining to Xbox console, yes, you can share Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    I understand your question.
    To share subscription between PC and console, you need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    • The Game Pass for console works only on the console.
    • Game Pass for PC works on PC only.
    • Game Pass Ultimate works on both

    If you have Ultimate you can share with him

    Game Pass Ultimate benefits can only be shared on consoles. You cannot gain any benefits or use on PC unless you are signed into the account that purchased Game Pass Ultimate.
