Sharing friends content help.

im a community supporter on xbox one and as of 3 months ago i have been unable to share my friends screenshots or clips to my activity feed even tho i recieve confirmation the content was shared. ive chatted with ambassadors as well as customer support many
times during this period. im just looking for an update or solution to this ongoing problem. thank you.

Shared Content/Game DVR problem

Hmm that's odd indeed. Are your friends getting an error code along with the message? It'd look something like 0x00000000.

Also, is this only happening with content from one game or is it happening with all games? Have you also tried sharing content from another game?

In the meantime, try sharing something with my Gamertag () and let's see if I can see it.

One Drive does not work

You can use Upload Studio to upload video content to OneDrive. The following support page will help you: Upload Studio Sharing Clips

Once your content is on OneDrive, you can use the OneDrive app on a tablet or your phone to download your content.

Hey Jade -

Under Settings, then Account, then Privacy & Online Safety, can you tell me what your settings are under "Game Content" please? You can try changing some of the settings, saving them, and then changing them back to see if that helps the issue at all.

If you and your friend are gamesharing on Xbox, it's important to note that certain content, such as DLCs or additional purchases, may not be shared between accounts. This can vary depending on the specific game and its licensing agreements.

In the case of MW3 and the Vault Edition upgrade, it's possible that the additional content is not eligible for sharing and is tied specifically to the account that made the purchase. This means that your friend may not have access to the Vault Edition content, and you may not have access to the content associated with the base game or any other DLCs your friend purchased.

Is this the only item that you're not able to download right now?

If yes, that's probably because the content can't be shared.

You can try re-adding your friend's profile to see if that works. But if not, that means the content can't be shared and you need to purchase it in your account

Hey NC Riipsaw,

Thank you for responding. If you are referring to the
Home Console feature on the Xbox One, you can only share your games with one person at a time. So if you decide to share with friend #2, friend #1 will no longer have access to your catalog of content. Hope this helps!

License transfers are specifically for moving from one console (that you will no longer be using) to another, or for transferring purchases YOU specifically purchased on someone's console to your own. It is
not meant for sharing content with your friends and family so they can simply skip on paying the price of the game or the DLC that you've purchased (or vice versa). The Xbox Enforcement Team can
easily track where content is being shared (country/region, amount of times transferred, content being used at multiple places from the same content license, etc), those accounts that are maliciously using the License Transfer tool to share content with their
friends and family are dealt with a suspension.
