Sharing content between accounts on one console

My friend got his X1 running yesterday. We downloaded the DLC version of Titanfall, COD Ghosts (disc), and Spartan ****, with their respective season pass DLC. Today, he was playing normally aside from a few connection issues. Then we get his brother's profile
on the console. When he went to play Titanfall, it would not load. Spartan **** said the "if disc is available, insert it…" message. We moved on to Ghosts, and none of the DLC was even there.

My (more so his) question is: does any DLC installed on the hard-drive coincide for all profiles, much like the X360, or is there something new going on now?

Everything seems to work fine if both profiles are signed in, with his brothers being the active one, but as soon as my friend signs out, everything disappears.

Starting over

You can not transfer content between accounts. Sometimes though, content downloaded by one account can be used by another account on the same console.

 

Sharing between consoles

For one ea access cannot be shared as free content using ea access is account depemdent

Individual subscriptions like ea access and mmorpgs aren't shareable

In your case with the dlc it's not possible your brother will have to buy his own content

You only one home console and a roaming profile

That's it

You give your brother access to your home console your son loses access to your dlc and has to use your profile which I never recommend

Only your gamer tag can use it on any other console with roaming profile

 

Did you friend desinate his Xbox One console as his home console?
support.xbox.com/.../my-home-xbox

If he has not designated it as his home console, he will havew to be logged in for guests to play his digital games.
