Sharing betwixt 2 consoles in one house

Hi, help please.

We have two consoles, one for each child in the house.

Both often used at the same time.

I (the adult parent) have a ultimate subscription which I took out so they could have access to games.

I have set up both boys on the 'x box family'

The problem now is that my eldest uses my account to download games which he then plays, the other son can't access any of the downloaded games at the same time as the other is signed in.

I am aware of the 'home xbox' but you can only do this switch a few times annually!, and really doesn't help with the day to day problem.

Can my family members easily gain access to the main account holders games?

This is what I thought I was doing when I subscribed and set up my family users.

Any real help or direction appreciated.

Currently the Home setting is the only way to share games/subscriptions with other profiles. Adding users to your family is just to set up family settings.

You can use one subscription on both console inside the same house, set as Xbox home of the profile that own the subscription, the console used by the other user, and use the other console online with the profile that have the subscription active.

Just to clarify... The Home Xbox option is for share your games in a console for your house.

For example if you have 2 consoles in your house one in your living room and other in a your game room, so everyone can play your games on the console of your living room and you can still play on your console in your room.

Not for share your account to a different person that lives in another house, City, etc.

Remember share accounts go against the Xbox Live Terms and conditions.

Hi, you can share with multiple accounts on one xbox. But game sharing and live ect is restricted to one other console in the house.

Question currently i have 2 xbox ones in the house only one console can be a family set up to share game pass and live with the family.

When I get the series X will this allow me to set the X and the one as 2 separate family devices?
