Shared Minecraft World - Second player cannot join any more

Hi, I have a survival minecraft world on Bedrock Beta Edition on Xbox One.

My son and I share this world and regularly play together on it. However, since the xbox system update on the 4th November, whenever he attempts to join my world it crashes and boots us both out upon him signing in.

We have tried other accounts and they all seem to be able to share my world, although one player always remains invisible to the other player. Which never happened before either.

For some reason it is unique to the one account that it crashes when we both try and use it, and just before it crashes it comes up with a black window that says 'Let's go'!.

When other players join this message does not appear, and it is right when this message appears that it crashes.

I have checked that there are no age restrictions and player is set to unrestricted, player has also been sent and accepted an invitation, we have tried unsubscribing both accounts from the xbox and adding them fresh, we have checked parental restrictions
are not in place for any of these accounts, the world is set to accept players.

    We have tried everything.

It has always worked, and now it just doesn't even though we have made no changes.

    Any assistance greatly appreciated.

    :)

co op split screen player save

In Minecraft, the world is saved to the account that is "Player 1" and starts the game first.

When the second player joins that world, he is saved together with the world in Player 1's save slot.

If the second player starts the game themselves, they start a new game with a new world and empty inventory, as they have no access to Player 1's savegame. To prevent that, make sure that Player 1 starts Minecraft and enters their world, and that Player
    2 then joins that session.

If you want the two players to be able to play independently on the same world, you would need to rent (and pay for) a Realm that is hosted on Minecraft's online service.

Pigs Can Fly: Minecraft XBox One Issue, Glitch, or Bug

UPDATE: After further investigation the issue occurs when two or more players are in the same world. That is, when I join my world and play single player everything functions as normal. However, only when additional players join the world does the issue
start. It does not matter who created the world or whether the world is newly created or an existing one. While I tried uninstalling Minecraft from the Xbox and installing again, the problem persists.

    Minecraft

Is it possible that one of you or your friends has joined the Minecraft Beta Insider program?

If so, you probably have different versions of the game, and only players with the same Minecraft version can join each other's worlds.

Check that you all have either the official Minecraft version of 1.11.4. If one (or more) have the current Beta version of 1.13.something, then you can't join each other's worlds.

How do I turn off auto friend on bedrock mc?

    Hi Tigeressteeth,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Community! I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with random players joining your game. Here is some steps you can take to limit who can join your world in Minecraft.

    1. In Minecraft before joining your world, tap the edit button next to the world.

    2. Select the Multiplayer tab

    3. Choose whether you want to disable Multiplayer game altogether or change the dropdown under Microsoft Account Settings to Invite Only.

Setting your world to Invite Only will make it so you have to invite a player before they are able to join your world. You can invite players in the pause menu once opening your world. If you would like information about changing privacy settings on Xbox to limit other players from interacting with you, let me know and I can share some additional information.

I hope this solved your issue, if it did you can help mark this as the answer to help others! If you need more help, shoot us a reply!

    Happy Gaming!

[Mod Removed-Profanity] МАЙНКРАФТ [Mod Translation-(Mod Removed) Minecraft]

So... it appears you're having problems connecting to your friends worlds in Minecraft for Windows 10.

I would have them check their in-game settings in Minecraft under the main menu there, and make sure that Online play is enabled. Sometimes this is switched to being disabled and therefore they cannot join any online games and friends cannot join their game
either. Both you and your friends should check in Minecraft settings and make sure that Online play is enabled and friends are allowed to join. Then you can select which permissions you would like to enable for your friends when they join your world after
    that.
