share xbox live account with family member

I added my son to my Microsoft account and would like to share my Xbox live account as well. can I do that?

Hi,

I'm registred as a gold memeber on my xbox 360. I live with my family. Few years ago, we could share the xbox live gold with all members of my family with the "gold family" registration. But now I saw it disapeared... Only one member has access to the gold
functions. my question is: How can I share one gold registration with all different xbox live account of my family members. Thx for the help.

only the primary member can buy points but you can share to others.

How do I share points with family members (secondary accounts)?

The primary member on the Gold Family Pack membership can give Microsoft Points to other family members (secondary members), so that they can make purchases on Xbox LIVE.

Give points to family members

1.On your console, sign in to Xbox LIVE using the Family Pack primary account (the account used to sign up for the Family Pack membership).

2.Go to Settings, and then select Family.

3.Select the member that you want to give points to.

4.Select Grant Allowance.

5.Follow the on-screen instructions to give Microsoft Points to the secondary member. Points that you give to a secondary member cannot be reversed later.

Note If you don’t have enough points in your account, you’ll be prompted to add more points before giving points to the secondary member.

Hi

If you load you profile on your sons console then set that console as you home it will allow you to share most of your gold membership privildges including online multiplayer with any profile loaded onto that console.

you can share gold and gamepass on both consoles and just pay a membership just have the profile on both consoles and turn on the sharing option, another option is to make a family account and on the main pay for the subscription and share with your children's

Xbox is planning to release a feature that allows you to share Xbox Live Gold with family members in the future to replace the family plan.

Good news for you. An Xbox One allows membership sharing. That means that all members of your family can share the one Gold Membership across the accounts. This will not work for the 360.

When adding the accounts to the new console be sure to add them to your Family to ensure that they will have access to Live service on the console.
