    Share pictures via Xbox App Chat


    Is there an option to share pictures from my cellphone/tablet on this new xbox app? There was a + icon that allowed me to do just that, but since the update, it is no longer apparent.

    My new gamer friends & I have been growing close to one another. We live in different parts of the world & share pictures of our pets, vacations, memes, etc. We are also artistically inclined & haven't not been able to share our pictures & artistic creations
    since the update.

    The xbox live experience is supposed to he centered around bringing people around the world together, & it would be a disservice to our community if the ability to share pictures was removed. Anecdotally, I was hoping the update would upgrade the xbox app
    chat experience by allowing videos & gifs from cellphones/tablets.

    If pictures/or videos can be shared, I would love to know how.

    Since the new update on the mobile app, the + icon was removed with a lot of features as well. They re-designed the entire app but at what a cost? They removed the direct acess to the store, the game achievements is no longer visible on your profile and
    this update, in my opinion is pretty bad. I'm with the same problem as you man. However, it seems like the option to share pictures and videos still exist on the xbox app for pc. I don't know why they removed all these features just on mobile.

    You can change it via the xbox app, a usb with the picture on it and plug it into the Xbox.

    Or the Xbox website itself.

    Allow custom gameclips

    You can upload custom gameclips via the windows 10 app. Put the gameclip you want to share to xbox live in the captures folder on your PC and it will allow you to select it and share it via the app

    Hi

    You should be able to share via the Xbox App, or via the console itself.

    There are restrictions on what you can share over Xbox Live, so only captures the Xbox knows about can be shared, so you might need to plug the external drive back in to the console and share from there.
