    Hi,

    Just wanted to know if it were possible to allow my kids to use my Xbox Live Gold subscription. I could swear Xbox announced that you only need one live subscription per household. I'd hate to have to purchase a separate Gold Subscription for my kid who's
    8, and only plays Mindcraft with his buddy down the street. I checked his account settings, he has a child account under my account but he cannot get on-line. Any help with this would be grateful...

    Xbox 260 Subscription / New Profile

    On the 360 you cannot share a gold subscription. Each account would have to have it's own gold subscription.

    Xbox One - Gold Membership

    Gold subscriptions are shared on the One. So if they share a console, then yes, the gold subscription would work on both accounts.

    It depends on the console you're using. If it's the 360, each account needs it's own gold subscription in order to play online. If you're using the One, you can share gold and games with anyone on your Home console. So they could use your gold as long as
    they are using that console.

    No, you will need two Gold subscriptions. The sharing feature is for one console sharing the gold to other profiles on the console.
