    Share button on Xbox Wireless Controller does nothing


    I have Windows 10 v20H2 installed. The Xbox Accessories app sees the controller, so I know the controller is being recognized as a proper Xbox controller.

    However, the Share button is not doing anything. According to
    this page    , the Share button should function like it does on an Xbox to take screenshots and clips, but nothing is happening. Also, when I press Share in Xbox Accessories button test, it is the only button that does not get recognized other than Guide, although
    pressing Guide does bring up Game Bar. I've tried the Share button both via a USB-C wire and via Bluetooth.

    I've checked for updates in both Windows Update and Microsoft Store and there are no pending updates. Why isn't the Share button working?

    Taidara - the wireless controller does nothing, by that I mean the console will not respond to anything I do with the controller. I have been turning the console on and off with the front panel button.

    The power button is not broken, my Xbox controller doesn't turn it on, but the cords look fine. Holding the power button does nothing, and holding sync and power button does nothing.
