Discus and support Shadow of War 4k Textures in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Anyone know what size the game file is supposed to be for Shadow of War including 4k textures?     Anyone know what size the game file is supposed to be for Shadow of War including 4k textures? Currently have 42 gb game file which doesn't seem right.

    Yes. 4K with enhanced textures, shadows and texture filtering.

    was this fixed to You? I'm in the same place. Xbox support don't know what not working for me. Hard reset my console and setup manually, spent an hour downloading the game again and still no 4k patches.

    As I said, not all games will have 4K textures. The new Assassins Creed Origins patch for Xbox One will bring 4K support. It's size is 1.8GB. Small? That's because it has no 4K texture enhancement. The gane will be 4K though on One X.

    This answer is incorrect.

    Gears of War Ultimate Edition is a remaster of the first game only, with 4k textures and resolution support, and changes to the visual aspect of some levels.

    At present, GoW2 and 3 are unavailable on PC. 4 and 5 are.

    4K patch sizes for physical copies of xbox one x games

    Hi,

    Be aware that that there are one or two ways Xbox One enhanced games work when it comes to 4K. Some games are simply optimised to run in 4K resolution and nothing else is added to the game code. The textures remain the same as the standard Xbox, but everything
    looks sharper and crisp because the game is running natively at 3840x2160.

    For example Assassins Creed Origins and Assassins Creed Odyssey run in 4K with HDR, but have no additional 4K assets. Wolfenstein The New Colossus has no 4K assets either, just a resolution bump.

    I don't think Shadow of the Tomb Raider has 4K assets. The Division doesn't have 4K assets either, as far as I'm aware. However, it does need the latest patch to run in 4K. If you ran the Division in offline mode straight after the disc install on an
    Xbox One X, it will play as if it were running on a standard Xbox One.

    I don't think RDR2 has any 4K assets, the game simply runs in 4K on the One X console. The Patch does not contain any additional texture data for the One X platform.
