Shadow of Mordor: The Messenger Quest - Infinite load on Cinematic bug

After buying Shadow of Mordor GOTY when it was on sale a few weeks back, I have run in to a game stopping bug that I cannot seem to find a work-around.

When progressing through the main storyline quest : The messenger, I get to treasure room (past all the Ghuls) the game begins a load screen with the spinning circle in the lower right hand corner. This load screen seems to have no end. I let it run while
going to the store to see if it would progress while I was gone, no luck.

I have tried reinstalling the game, doing a soft and hard reset of the xbox, and have completely started the game over and replayed the game to this point.

I am truly at a loss on what to try next. This game is fantastic and I was really looking forward to finishing the story.

Any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. I have played it before and already beat the story. I just wanted to finish up with the Artifacts and Legend quests.

I fully realize how less than optimal this is going to sound but can you play through the game on a different save or account to see if the game hangs at the same point? Also, when you say you've done a soft and hard reset of the console - what exactly do
those mean? If neither of those was a
factory reset of your console, go ahead and try that as well.
