Shadow of Mordor Issue

So, after starting up Shadow of Mordor (and having not played it in a while) I was prompted to download a 7.4 GB update. I did this, and having absolutely no idea what It was for I went into my current campaign save. Well, after going on an Outcast mission,
something very odd happened. A thin rectangle, maybe 2 inches long on my screen and less than an inch wide in the middle left hand portion of the screen, appeared. The sound effects glitched out and I could only hear the Wraith world, but not my arrows whizzing
to strike their targets. The rectangle contained the sequence "999" three times I think, with purple boxes spacing out each sequence. I quit to the menu, then went back in, only to have this very weird thing pop up randomly in the same location. The sound
effects were fixed, though. I quit again, and turned my Xbox One off. I have it set to Energy-saver. If the problem persists I would take a picture, but I believe those are disabled. What could this issue be? It sounds like a joke now that I write it, but
it isn't. I've never had any issues with SoM before now.

Try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

If the problem persists then hold the Guide button on the controller until it vibrates and submit a report about the issue.
