Shadow of Mordor (IGN)

Not every devs / publishers are like Dice/EA (BF4) or Bethesda (Skyrim).Hopefully.

 

I didn't start this thread to be another chapter of resolutiongate, I just have genuine concerns when review copies aren't provided for all releasing platforms. The 360 and PS3 versions are pushed back, we all know that. That leaves two current-gen versions
and the PC version. Why is only one current-gen being sent out for review?

I love my XB1, but it is frustrating to have reviews held and day one patches necessary to be able to get an idea of how a title performs on this platform...

 

i wouldn't say they looked at all inferior. my concern though is that again "perception" has been a huge key in the shortcomings of the Xbox One at retail. it would be false to assume that "resgate" isn't affecting purchases whether that be the console
or games themselves.

and it's not a console limitation .. it's a developer thing. i find it unprofessional to not learn the architecture of the Xbox One.

 

I have the same concern KaeruNKame...the game is out and still no info about it...

I am waiting for the review to decide on this game

 

You have the info a lot of those review sites just copy and paste for the one/ps4 reviews yes it might run a little better/worse on the one but it's ultimately the same game

 

Mines been dispatched, that's all I need to know. I never worried about this kind of nonsense on my 360 so I'm not going to start now. Quietly convinced I will enjoy this title.

 

This "Resolution Gate", is really growing tiresome. I highly doubt there is a significant difference. If there was such a huge discrepancy in the title, I am sure Xbox would have did all they could do to help just as they did with Diablo 3 and Destiny.

The game looks/plays just fine to me. WB didn't use the extra power because Kinect is still on.

 

Apparently PS4 is 1080 / 60 fps and Xbox One is 900 / 30 fps

^^ the first link dated july 2014 they couldn't say anything about x1 cause of exclusive marketing deal with sony.

Second link still rumors, nothing is confirmed.

But it is alarming that the game is out and still no word about Resolution/FPS i think something is cooking...looks like they are working on a fix but they are not there yet

 

Well it sounds like it's locked at 30fps regardless of if it's 720 or 900. More than that, however, side by side from a few articles I've read they both look the same anyway so it really doesn't (or at least shouldn't) matter.

@Deacon....between the X1 version and the PS4 version, something that us below the mod level would have gotten chastised for doing.
